Curriculum Dance
The programme aims to:
- Develop the learning of a specified subject (that the schools wish to develop)through using dance
- Introduce dance into the classroom
- Invite schools/teachers to be a part of the project by working with the dance artist to incorporate ideas from the studio (dance session) into the classroom. Creating work such as writing or art work in response to the sessions
- Support all types of learning, accessible to children of differing ability
- Promoting healthy living, fitness and confidence building in developing performance skills
- Invitation to be a part of the Dance Academy at The Stoop Stadium
After School Dance
The programme aims to:
- Develop the learning of a specified dance style, for example Contemporary, Street, Jazz, Cheerleading
- Encourage participants to commit to the project each week
- Support all types of learning, accessible to children of differing ability
- Promoting healthy living, fitness and confidence building in developing performance skills
- Where possible to provide a performance opportunity with the School and/or to perform at The Stoop Stadium on a match day
