The London Broncos RL Foundation and the RFL work across the region to support community Rugby League clubs in improving their coaching, facilities and attracting more members.

Community Rugby League in London has grown steadily every year and now boasts a two-division open-age competition, junior leagues from u7 through to u18, girl's competitions, a women's league, non-contact tag and touch competitions, over 35s masters RL and wheelchair competitions.

WCAM London Youth, Junior & Mini League

The WCAM London Youth, Junior & Mini League are the group responsible for administrating and running the community competitions for all players up to the age of 18 in London and the South East.

Mini League

The Mini league operates at u6 (Tag RL), u7, u9 and u11, are collectively termed 'Minis' and the season starts in mid-March and culminates in the Purdham Cup, the Mini Grand Final day at the Stoop on 21st July. Minis play festivals throughout the season, open to all teams and hosted by community clubs.

28th April - Elmbridge Eagles (Surrey)

20th May - Medway Dragons (Kent) as part of the Medway Stampede weekend that will see a festival of Rugby League played in Medway, Kent leading up to the Broncos Super League on-the-road game at Gillingham FC.

23rd June - Sussex Merlins (East Sussex)

7th July - St Albans Centurions (Hertfordshire)

21st July - 'Purdham Cup', the Minis Grand Final at the Stoop, the curtain raiser event to London Broncos v Wigan Warriors

Junior League

The junior league operates at u12, u14 and u16 and runs from the opening weekend's 9s competition in March to the Junior League Grand Final on the 28th July. This year the 9s competition saw an increase in entries on 2011 and was won by Elmbridge Eagles at u12 and u14 and by Medway Dragons at u16 in competitions hosted at 4 venues across the region. The Junior League cup starts in April and the Cup Finals are part of the Medway Stampede weekend on 19th May. The u18s Youth League runs alongside the Junior League.

Post-season, the London Origin series kicks in where the best players from the league season selected for North or South London representative teams to play a 3-game representative series.
