The battle between the two hookers will be interesting; you have a great playmaker in Chad Randall and a big performer in Michael Monaghan. Also David Howell - who takes on Warrington's Matt King - always makes crucial metres in attacking play, which will be an interesting battle.
Have you put together a Super League dream team together for the season?
I am co-managing the Blonde Bucks, I hope they perform well because I have chosen some big names in the dream team.
If you could convert any Rugby League player to Union, who would it be?
It would have to be Greg Inglis. I'm looking forward to seeing him take on Quins when Melbourne Storm are over here later in the month. However, if you asked me which Wolves or Quins player. it would probably be between Morley and McCarthy-Scarsbrook because they are both tough guys.
Was Rugby League a big influence on you growing up in the North and why did you choose to play Union?
I used to play Rugby League until I went to high school and I love the game. My high school was the only state school in the area which played Union so we were known as Grange Hill. I felt more natural playing Union at that age and have eventually progressed to where I am today.
Will you be enjoying any of the Harlequins Rugby League games at The Stoop?
If I am around I like to come down and support the League boys and the sport in general. It's great having the only southern Super League club on my doorstep.
Have you seen any bright young talent coming through the Quins RL Team down at the training ground?
I am glad you said "Quins RL Team" because otherwise I would say "The Cheerleaders look great!" In all seriousness, I have seen all of the guys training hard at the ground. I think the young talent to watch this season would be Ben Jones-Bishop and Scarsbrook.
