During a break from pre-season training, McDermott braved the freezing temperatures and icy roads to visit Mr Paul Betts who was selected at random to receive his 2010 Season Ticket before everyone else.
Mr Betts was delighted to find the Quins head coach on his doorstep and wished the team the very best for the forthcoming season:
"I have been a season ticket holder for over 10 years now and regularly encourage my family and people I work with to come along too.
"I'm looking forward to the new season and wish Brian and his squad all the best for the new season."
All other 2010 Season Tickets will be posted shortly and should arrive within the next week.
Harlequins Rugby League kickoff 2010 on Saturday 30th January (3pm) with a visit from Wakefield Wildcats.
In preparation, they will be play against Crusaders Rugby League in the Jon Wells Testimonial Match on Saturday 16th January (5pm) at Rosslyn Park, followed by the ETF Securities Capital Challenge against London Skolars on Friday 22nd January (1.45pm) at the HAC Ground in the City of London.
