The good, dry weather encouraged attacking rugby league and each team obliged, demonstrating some excellent handling and running skills, with a total of 22 tries being run-in!
With teachers, coaches and numerous spectators duly entertained, Christ's maintained a 100% record to take the title as Competitive Edge Richmond Champions.
Harlequins Rugby League Community Team organised the event and provided both accurate and arguably stylish officiating through Jimmy Giblin and Paul Dooley with time-keeping and presentations by Darren Pugsley.
The Harlequins team would like to sincerely thank each school's coaches on the day; Alison McGrandles, Kate Sinfield, Nick Elliott and Steve Colvin for their support and efforts. Hopefully all 80 boys involved and more will be looking forward to returning next year to contest the Year 11 title!
Thanks again to everyone who took part, and we wish Christ's School good luck in the next round.
