The majority of the Broncos squad will be made up of U20s players with the addition of a number of first team players and some up & coming U18s. In Round 1 the Broncos face Wigan Warriors, Widnes Vikings and Championship 1 new comers for 2013 Gloucester.
The 9s includes a number of alternative rules including an option after scoring a try to take a Power Play which is a restart 10m from where the try has been scored with 1 tackle in which to score another try (still worth 4 points).
Head of Youth Phil Jones commented: "I think it will be an exciting night of Rugby League and for those who enjoy try scoring I am sure we will see some spectacular ones. It is also will be interesting for supporters to see the upcoming stars of the future for ourselves but both Wigan and Widnes who have a great tradition of home grown stars as well seeing Gloucester's preparations toward Championship 1"
