This is a full time fixed term position which will offer a unique and exciting insight into the world of Rugby League.
The role will involve filming and editing training sessions, providing statistical analysis of matches and assisting coaches with presentations for team meetings and individual player reviews. Further responsibilities will include providing live match day analysis and detailed statistical and video analysis.
It is essential that candidates possess or are working towards a degree in sports science or performance analysis. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, particularly in video-editing, whilst also being efficient in the use of both Opta Sports and Overcode, alongside other programs. Preferably candidates will have a prior knowledge of Rugby League and experience in using creative presentation skills.
This will be a fast paced, demanding role that will require commitment and tenacity. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent written skills and be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks. This is a full time position that will require weekend and evening work at all training sessions and matches, as well as travel to other locations.
The fixed term contract will run from 1st November 2012 until the end of the full Super League season in September 2013.
