For the Broncos, David Howell returned from suspension to take over from the injured Liam Colbon in the centres, Mark Bryant moving from the bench to a starting birth as Matt Cook took his place among the replacements.
Warrington, who were forced to settle for a 20-20 draw at Hull in their opening fixture, started off at a fiery pace but big hits from Craig Gower and Antonio Kaufusi stopped the Wolves in their tracks.
And having withstood the early pressure, it was London who were to strike first, Witt stepping inside and stepping on the gas to cross at the sticks. The game was proving a feisty encounter, with the home crowd worked up by a number of penalties given against the Broncos. Those penalties put the visitors on the back foot and Warrington were eventually to draw level on 14 minutes, Chris Bridge touching down after a neat Lee Briers kick.
The Londoners were having to work extremely hard in defence, but were putting in a tremendous shift on the tackle front. The Broncos were also having plenty of possession of their own, but were unable to make the most of the chances that came their way.
Warrington went through the gears as the game passed the 20-minute mark, running in three quick tries through Joel Monaghan, Bridge again and Ryan Atkins.
But Rob Powell's men showed they still had plenty to offer right on the half-time hooter, neat hands allowing Robertson to squeeze in at the corner for his second try of the season.
Early second-half tries from Monaghan and Bridge pushed Warrington past the 30-point mark and really put the Broncos up against it.
The London side were still showing plenty of grit, and their aggressiveness in the tackle was still giving Warrington food for thought. But on the hour-mark the hosts moved further ahead, Stefan Ratchford rounding off a flowing move involving Rhys Evans.
Matt Cook was making his presence felt as he made his Broncos debut, and there was still plenty of go-forward from the likes of Kaufusi. But Briers was really pulling the strings and he grabbed two well-deserved tries of his own in the final ten minutes.
