Michael Channing keeps his place in the 19 for the third week running having started for the first time last weekend in Broncos' Challenge Cup victory over Batley Bulldogs.
The 22-16 win over the Bulldogs saw the Broncos dig deep in dreadful conditions and Powell will be hoping that the lure of a starting place in the quarter-final against Huddersfield next weekend will add an extra incentive to the players on Sunday.
Jason Golden remains sidelined for the fixture with sore ribs while Julien Rinaldi continues to recover from ankle ligament damage. Liam Colbon has undergone a shoulder reconstruction this week following his injury at Leeds earlier in the season while Tony Clubb and Karl Temata are out with a groin tear and back spasms respectively.
Sunday's fixture will be the first time top-flight rugby league has been played in Leyton and Powell is hoping that the Broncos can put on a performance worthy of the occasion.
Rob Powell, London Broncos head coach commented: "We need to continue to build on our home form when we showcase rugby league in Leyton on Sunday. Scott Wheeldon comes straight into the squad after settling in well this week.
"We need to display the same tough attitude to the game as we did last week at Batley."
Bradford Bulls boss Mick Potter is able to call upon Elliot Kear for the first time since March following his recovery from a broken hand
Adrian Purtell doesn't feature for the Bulls due to a hamstring injury and Brett Kearney is still unavailable due to an ankle injury.
Bradford's rising star John Bateman is also ruled out after receiving a three-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on Warrington Wolves' Brett Hodgson.
