Tony Clubb and Julien Rinaldi started among the forwards, with Chad Randall dropping to the bench.

The Londoners were looking to win back-to-back games for the first time this campaign, but had failed to register a victory at Huddersfield since 2003.

The Broncos started well though, bossing field position and taking the game to the hosts.

And they were rewarded for that start when good hands allowed Robertson to dart over in the corner on four minutes.

Things looked good for the visitors, but some slack defending soon saw them behind on the scoreboard, Luke George and Kevin Brown both crossing after a host of missed tackles.

London were not going away though, with Dan Sarginson and Julien Rinaldi keeping the Broncos moving forward.

And Rinaldi came very close to a Broncos second score midway through the half, twisting and turning but unable to ground the ball.

For the remainder of the half the men from the capital were firmly on the back foot, but excellent defence from the entire side ensured things stayed close.

Huddersfield did strike right on the hooter though, Aaron Murphy surging over in the corner after waves of pressure near the Broncos line.

Having defended for so long, the visitors came out with renewed vigour after the break, and were right back in the contest on 48 minutes.

A spell of pressure close to the Giants line gave London the platform, and skipper Craig Gower applied the finishing touch by barrelling over from close range.

It was game on, and Rob Powell's side were close to levelling affairs moments later, only for Robertson's final pass to David Howell to be adjudged forward.

The home side were stunned, but a moment of magic from Danny Brough put the Giants back in the driving seat when he conjured up a try for Michael Lawrence.

Minutes later Scott Grix crashed over as Huddersfield opened up a commanding lead.

Brough then set up Eorl Crabtree on 67 minutes to wrap up the points, with Larne Patrick and Crabtree adding further late scores.
