Having started his rugby career at hometown club Villenueve, Julien Rinaldi made his Super League debut with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2002. He then moved to French side Catalan Dragons in 2006.
After 22 appearances in his first season for the Dragons Rinaldi joined London Broncos. In his first stint for the club Rinaldi played 47 times, scoring nine tries before being released due to tighter RFL regulations on overseas players. Rinaldi then joined Bradford Bulls and subsequently rejoined Wakefield. After a successful campaign in the 2011 season Rob Powell was delighted to resign the Frenchman. During the course of his career Rinaldi has played at two world cups, won a European Cup and been capped 36 times for France.
Rinaldi’s favourite film is hit comedy The Hangover and his favourite musician in Jack Johnson. The cultured Frenchman likes to travel when his schedule allows and cook for his family at home.
