Omari Caro only began playing Rugby League aged 17. He attended open trials at London Broncos’ Roehampton training ground when he was 18 years old and was invited to join the academy team. After just one season Caro signed professional forms with the club in 2010. His meteoric rise has coincided with caps for the Jamaican national side against USA and South Africa.

Caro lists Australian film Chopper and the indie hit 500 Days of Summer amongst his favourite films and his favourite singer is the late Amy Winehouse. Caro had been studying for a Sports Science Degree at St Mary’s but has put that on hold for now to concentrate on his Rugby League career.
