London Broncos announce dual registration with Cornwall RLFC
London Broncos are pleased to confirm the club has agreed a dual-registration partnership with Betfred League One club Cornwall RLFC for the 2025 season.
The partnership will see players from London Broncos, in need of experience and gametime, the opportunity to feature regularly throughout the 2025 Betfred League 1 season. This will give the developmental players invaluable game time while pushing Southern Rugby League in the right direction.
Cornwall RLFC Head coach Mike Abbott has applauded the work of Mike Eccles who “has been great in wanting to get it set up and worked hard to make it happen.”
Speaking to the value of this new partnership, Abbott said, “Not only can we give some game time to some of their players, but there are some really good quality players who we know could be available. They’re a really well-coached side with Super League experience, so we’re lucky to get players from that environment and experience from the club.”
Looking long-term, Mike expressed the value that the agreement could bring with the likes of pre-season fixtures between the clubs helping us better prepare for the future seasons at the club.
Both clubs are heavily committed to creating a pathway for players to climb the ranks within professional rugby league in the south of the UK and this partnership is the first step in a positive direction in creating the club’s long-term vision.

London Broncos Announce Super League Ambitions and New Ownership London Broncos are excited to confirm that it has formally provided a comprehensive submission to the RFL’s Super League 2026 Application Process and Criteria. The comprehensive bid submission represents a clear vision for the future of the London Broncos and for the growth of the game in London. The submission is a detailed operational and financial plan for the Club to achieve financial sustainability and success both on and off the field. The London Broncos are proposing changes in governance at the Club, including a new ownership group which will consist of rugby league legend Darren Lockyer, successful businessman Grant Wechsel and Gary Hetherington. These changes will provide the Club with the capital, commitment, credibility and capability that are required to be a competitive force in the top-tier competition.

Jensen Monk comes in to start at prop as Adebiyi and Hursey-Hord drop out of the squad following injuries last weekend. Broncos were unable to sign off the home campaign with a win over Bradford Bulls but put in a positive display leading at half-time and scoring 24 points against the promotion hopefuls. Widnes have enjoyed a revival in recent months and made a late charge for the play-off positions. Ultimately a defeat at Halifax last week meant they would fall short but would still be confident of finishing the season on a high in front of their own supporters. INTERVIEW: Ted Davidson's journey to London Broncos first-team Ted Davidson recently made his full first-team debut for London Broncos in the Championship game at Batley Bulldogs. The 23-year-old was a stand out performer despite perhaps being a surprise inclusion in the starting 13. The centre has been in and around the club for a number of years after being spotted playing Origin whilst at junior club Elmbridge Eagles in 2018.
