Smith & Rathbone join the squad In this week's 21-man squad we are joined by 20-year-old outside back Jack Smith from Leeds Rhinos. Standing at 191cm tall, Smith can play on the wing or at centre. In 2024, Smith got the chance to develop away from the Rhinos as he featured on loan at Betfred Championship sides Halifax and Bradford. In total, he played five games (3 for Halifax, 2 for Bradford). With the Rhinos Reserves side, he played eight out of twelve games and scored one try against London Broncos reserves. Meanwhile, 19-year old Rathbone will be looking to make his senior debut with his spell away from parent club Wigan Warriors. Rathbone, who is predominately a loose forward but can also play at hooker, spent his entire amateur career at Leigh Miners before signing for the Warriors Academy in 2022 after progressing through the Scholarship programme. He still coaches at his childhood club whilst training to become a full time electrician away from playing, and he scored three tries in nine appearances for the Academy in 2023. Welcome to the Broncos, Jack & Kalum. #WeAreLondon

MATCH REPORT: Doncaster RLFC 30-12 London Broncos It was another defeat for London Broncos on the road as in-form Doncaster put on an impressive second-half performance to take points. Prior to the match, Doncaster hadn’t beaten the Broncos in 31 years. However, when this game kicked off there was no doubt the Dons would be favourites to end that long run. Richard Horne’s side came into this game off the back of a standout win over high flying Halifax whilst Mike Eccles team were looking to end a run of five consecutive defeats. The opening exchanges were physical and both sides made errors but neither could carve open any chances of note. The Broncos had in fairness the slightly better of the exchanges but the kicking was inaccurate and not building the pressure that was needed.

POST-MATCH: Polselli post defeat in Doncaster Luke Polselli has spoken with London Broncos media following the 30-12 defeat in Doncaster and he says there can be no excuses. In a game where the Broncos led at half-time it was another game that saw the opposition runaway with the scoreline in the second 40 but Polselli says the trend in the results is not down to poor fitness.
