Sheffield Eagles 10 - 72 London Broncos

London Broncos produced an extensive attacking display to defeat Sheffield Eagles 72–10, scoring throughout both halves and creating opportunities from quick ball movement, support play, and offloads.

Sheffield started strongly after an early kick from Jordan Abdull forced an error from Morea Morea, giving the home side early field position inside the Broncos’ 20. London absorbed the pressure and opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Jimmy Meadows broke through the line and offloaded for Luke Smith to score. Meadows converted for a 6–0 lead.

The Broncos continued to threaten despite handling errors and penalties. Sheffield had a chance down the left edge in the 12th minute but dropped the ball over the line, allowing Smith to clear the danger. A minute later, Gairo Voro created London’s second try with a pass to Elliot Wallis, who forced his way over. Meadows converted again.

London extended the lead in the 20th minute after Liam Tindall broke down the sideline before offloading inside for Brandon Webster-Mansfield to score. Webster-Mansfield added his second shortly after Neil Tchamambe made a break and linked with Connor O’Beirne, who then found the winger in support.

Sheffield responded in the 29th minute through Ryan Millar, with Jordan Abdull converting to reduce the deficit to 24–6. However, London quickly regained momentum. Wallis scored his second after Voro stepped around defenders and offloaded, before Morea crossed following another break from Smith.

The Broncos led 36–6 at half-time and added to their advantage immediately after the break when Finley Glare scored from dummy half. Morea then claimed his second try after a move involving O’Beirne, Voro and Wallis created space on the right edge.

Webster-Mansfield completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute after the ball was moved quickly across the field from left to right.

Luke Smith scored his second after an Alex Foster was shown a yellow card for a professional foul. Following this, O’Beirne added another try after Morea broke through the defensive line and offloaded.

Tchamambe later scored in the corner from a cut-out pass by Morea, before Glare completed his double after support play from Tindall created the opportunity.

Despite the scoreline, Sheffield continued to attack late in the match. Tchamambe produced two try-saving tackles during a sustained spell inside the Broncos’ 20, though Billy Walkley eventually crossed in the 74th minute. Abdull missed the conversion.

London continued to attack through to the closing stages, although a late forward pass between Morea and Webster-Mansfield and a knock-on inside their own half ended further opportunities.

The Broncos finished with 13 tries in a 72–10 victory.
