Midlands Hurricanes 10 - 78 London Broncos

London Broncos scored 14 tries in a 78–16 victory over Midlands Hurricanes, leading 38–6 at half-time before adding a further seven tries after the break.

London opened the scoring early in the first half. Jack Croft crossed after a passing move created space on the edge, with Jimmy Meadows converting. Shortly afterwards, Elliot Wallis found the try line and Brandon Webster-Mansfield scored after stepping past his defender and Meadows added the conversion.

Midlands had an opportunity following a Neil Tchamambe knock-on inside the Broncos' half, but London regained control of possession. Dean Hawkins kicked high for Tchamambe to claim and score. Meadows converted to extend the lead.

A forward pass prevented Elliot Wallis and Finley Glare from adding another try, but London continued to create opportunities. Following a Midlands knock-on on halfway, Hawkins sent Webster-Mansfield through for his second try after beating the defensive line. Meadows converted.

After an interchange that brought Marcus Stock and Connor O'Beirne into the game, London added another try when the ball was moved from right to left, allowing Gairo Voro to step over. Meadows converted to make it 34–0.

Midlands opened their account in the 31st minute when Toby Warren scored. Sully Medforth converted to reduce the deficit to 34–6.

London responded before half-time. Following a Midlands handling error, the Broncos attacked from a scrum, and quick passing released Neil Tchamambe for his second try in the corner. Meadows converted to give London a 38–6 lead at the interval.

Midlands began the second half strongly and were held up over the line before Aidan McGowan scored from a kick in the 45th minute. The conversion was unsuccessful, leaving the score at 38–10.

London regained momentum from a penalty after Dean Hawkins was hit late with Jimmy Meadows held up short of the line. Ben Hursey-Hord scored from the resulting possession, and Meadows converted.

The Broncos added further tries in quick succession. Finley Glare combined with Connor O'Beirne before Gairo Voro scored his second try, and moments later Voro completed his hat-trick after stepping through defenders. Meadows converted both tries.

Following a penalty from the restart, Dean Hawkins scored after shaping to offload before carrying the ball over himself. Meadows converted.

A short kick-off was gathered by Meadows, allowing London to build further pressure. Siliva Havili scored from close range before Finley Glare broke through the defensive line and offloaded for Reagan Campbell-Gillard to score beneath the posts. Meadows converted both tries.

From a scrum near the right touchline, London moved the ball wide and Alex Max crossed in the corner. Meadows converted.

During the closing stages, Jimmy Meadows left the field after a high tackle, with Johnson shown a yellow card for the incident. Connor O'Beirne returned to the field as his replacement.

Midlands scored their third try late in the match through Jon-Luke Kirby, with Sully Medforth converting to make the score 78–16.

The home side finished with a strong attacking set but were held up over the line before London completed the match with a final kick from Hawkins.
