South Clean Sweep U14/U16 Origin Game 1!
The North looking to level the Series at Game 2 in Twickenham on Sunday!

The South won both matches in the opening games of the London Rugby League U14 & U16 Origin Series at Brentwood Eels yesterday.
In the U14s match, the North got off to an early lead before their improved line speed and strong carrying got them back in the game. Bromley Centre Noah Ngu made big metres and punched a number of holes while Elmbridge Half-Back Freddie Sutton directed the game well.
The South eventually ran out winners, 24-12, with tries from Quigley, Beukmann, Barnes, Ngu and a brace from Sutton. For the North there were tries from Lock, and a brace from Nungari. Ngu was awarded Player of the Match for the South, while Sebastien Nungari was Player of the MAtch for the North.
The U16s match was a high quality affair, with a smaller, younger South Team taking on a bigger, older North side. With a series of strong carries from 2nd Rows Wayman and Hale, precise kicking from Half-Back Robson, and Full-Back Zidour being a constant threat, the South gradually took control of the game.
The final score was 28-4 to the South, with tries for Hale, Clarke, Kelly and a brace for Wayman, and Robson kicking 4 goals, while Brentwood Winger George Sweeney scored for the North. Kit Wayman from Elmbridge was awarded Player of the Match for the SOuth, and Hemel Full-Back Finn Espley was Player of the MAtch for the North.
The North will now be looking to level the Series in both matches in Game 2 at St MAry's University, Twickenham next Sunday. All welcome to see the next generation of London Rugby League Stars in action!
