London Broncos and Dons Local Action Join Forces to Tackle Poverty and Boost Community Engagement

London Broncos and Dons Local Action Group (DLAG) are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership aimed at leveraging the power of sport to make a positive impact in Southwest London communities.

As part of this collaboration, Dons Local Action will provide opportunities for London Broncos players to actively volunteer in the community, contributing to the ongoing fight against the effects of poverty. In return, London Broncos are committed to ensuring that volunteers, partners, and individuals supported by DLAG in the boroughs of Kingston, Merton, and Wandsworth have access to exciting opportunities to watch the Broncos in action during their thrilling return to Super League.


Furthermore, Dons Local Action volunteers are actively engaging with local businesses to rally support behind the London Broncos during this exciting period. London Broncos are equally enthusiastic about participating in DLAG's fundraising activities, further cementing their commitment to the local community.


Jason Loubser, CEO of London Broncos, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "This collaboration represents a significant commitment by London Broncos to enhance our profile in Southwest London and deepen our connection with the local community."

London Broncos Announce Super League Ambitions and New Ownership London Broncos are excited to confirm that it has formally provided a comprehensive submission to the RFL’s Super League 2026 Application Process and Criteria. The comprehensive bid submission represents a clear vision for the future of the London Broncos and for the growth of the game in London. The submission is a detailed operational and financial plan for the Club to achieve financial sustainability and success both on and off the field. The London Broncos are proposing changes in governance at the Club, including a new ownership group which will consist of rugby league legend Darren Lockyer, successful businessman Grant Wechsel and Gary Hetherington. These changes will provide the Club with the capital, commitment, credibility and capability that are required to be a competitive force in the top-tier competition.

Jensen Monk comes in to start at prop as Adebiyi and Hursey-Hord drop out of the squad following injuries last weekend. Rob Oakley is in the matchday squad and is joined on the interchanges with Rugless, Porter and Ross. MATCH PREVIEW: Widnes Vikings vs London Broncos It is the final weekend of the Championship season and London Broncos make the trip up to Widnes Vikings. Broncos were unable to sign off the home campaign with a win over Bradford Bulls but put in a positive display leading at half-time and scoring 24 points against the promotion hopefuls. Widnes have enjoyed a revival in recent months and made a late charge for the play-off positions. Ultimately a defeat at Halifax last week meant they would fall short but would still be confident of finishing the season on a high in front of their own supporters. INTERVIEW: Ted Davidson's journey to London Broncos first-team Ted Davidson recently made his full first-team debut for London Broncos in the Championship game at Batley Bulldogs. The 23-year-old was a stand out performer despite perhaps being a surprise inclusion in the starting 13. The centre has been in and around the club for a number of years after being spotted playing Origin whilst at junior club Elmbridge Eagles in 2018.
