MATCH PREVIEW: Hunslet RLFC vs London Broncos


London Broncos move into Round 15 of the Championship season on Sunday with a trip to Yorkshire to take on Hunslet RLFC.


Both sides will have identified this fixture as an opportunity to kickstart their seasons with both currently occupying the bottom two places in the division.


Mike Eccles side come into this fixture off the back of a weekend off so will be fresh and the previous game a narrow defeat away to top-side Toulouse, which will have given the Broncos plenty of positives to build on.

Mike Eccles has named his 21-man squad for this weekend’s trip to Yorkshire to take on Hunslet RLFC.


Lewis Bienek returns to the squad after missing the last month through injury and he is joined in the squad by Jack Smith, Louix Gorman and Taylor Kerr who are on dual-registration terms from Leeds Rhinos, Hull KR & Wigan Warriors.

London Broncos' Luke Polselli says "we're ready to go" ahead of the Championship trip to Hunslet on Sunday.


The Italian international has been in good form and has been named in the Rugby League World Team of The Month for the Championship after excelling in the full-back position.


This weekend sees the division bottom two sides meet at the South Leeds Stadium and Polselli believes wins are on the way.

A talented utility back Billy Jowitt is really flourishing at Hunslet after moving from being a fringe player at Bradford to a key man.


Despite Hunslet’s struggles he has still managed to score 6 tries in 16 games and is also a consistent kicker with 17 so far this season.

London Broncos appoint Jason Demetriou as Head Coach The London Broncos are pleased to officially announce the appointment of Jason Demetriou as our Men’s team Head Coach, bringing significant NRL coaching expertise and a clear vision to the Club’s preparations for the 2026 season. Demetriou joins the Club on a three-year deal commencing in 2026. Demetriou, most recently Head Coach of South Sydney Rabbitohs, is widely regarded for his ability to develop elite talent and build high-performing squads. London Broncos Announce Super League Ambitions and New Ownership London Broncos are excited to confirm that it has formally provided a comprehensive submission to the RFL’s Super League 2026 Application Process and Criteria. The comprehensive bid submission represents a clear vision for the future of the London Broncos and for the growth of the game in London. The submission is a detailed operational and financial plan for the Club to achieve financial sustainability and success both on and off the field. The London Broncos are proposing changes in governance at the Club, including a new ownership group which will consist of rugby league legend Darren Lockyer, successful businessman Grant Wechsel and Gary Hetherington. Jensen Monk comes in to start at prop as Adebiyi and Hursey-Hord drop out of the squad following injuries last weekend.
