MATCH PREVIEW: London Broncos vs Sheffield Eagles
London Broncos move into Round 10 of the Championship season on Sunday as they welcome Sheffield Eagles to Rosslyn Park.
Both sides find themselves on four points and will no doubt both identify this as a game to get back to winning ways and back on track. Since the last second defeat against Batley Bulldogs at The Cherry Red Records the Broncos have suffered defeats to Barrow, Halifax and York. Whilst for Sheffield they have just one win in the last six Championship fixtures with that victory coming against Batley.
This week we welcome Connor O’Beirne back into the squad following injury, plus we have Jack Farrimond joining Taylor Kerr, Lukas Mason and Kian McDermott from Wigan Warriors in a welcome boost.
The squad selected by Mike Eccles is available to view below.

PRE-MATCH INTEVIEW
We welcome Connor O’Beirne into the Broncos squad this week for the first time since the first week of March after injuring his knee in the 1895 Cup game against Dewsbury Rams.
The Australian half had impressed in his opening three games and has been sorely missed during his time spent on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old has cut a frustrated figure on the sidelines but has made a quicker than initially expected recovery and is excited to be back out there on the field.
ONE TO WATCH
Cory Aston has been a standout performer in the Championship throughout his career and despite now being 30 he is still as effective as ever. In the recent win over Batley Aston scored 22 points as he was at the heart of all of their good work. Aston also had a brief spell playing for London Broncos in 2020 which may well add an extra incentive for the Eagles half on Sunday.

FIRST INTERVIEW: CHARLIE ROBSON It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks for London Broncos new signing Charlie Robson. The 23-year-old winger joined the club on trial just a few weeks ago but after impressing the coaching staff he signed a contract and was named in the matchday squad for the recent win over Barrow Raiders. Robson's story is a unique one in that he has never played a professional game of Rugby League before although has spent time on trial with both Hull FC & Leigh Leopards. Born in Surrey, Robson progressed through the Rugby Union system at Harlequins before playing professionally at Coventry. LONDON BRONCOS V BARROW RAIDERS (by David Ballheimer) London Broncos (8) 18, Barrow Raiders (10) 10 London Broncos ended their two-game losing streak with a vital come-from-behind victory over the Barrow Raiders on Sunday afternoon. It was a happy return to the Cherry Red Records Stadium for London whose last game at Plough Lane had been the comfortable victory over Widnes Vikings at the beginning of June. To be honest, with 35 minutes of the first half completed this result seemed unlikely. Barrow threw a forward pass on just the second tackle of the game, but the Broncos did not take advantage of the short field. Two more errors from the visitors gave further excellent scoring opportunities, but they were wasted with careless errors. The Raiders suffered a blow inside the first 10 minutes when Matt Costello picked up an injury from which he was unable to return, thus leaving Barrow with only three replacements. In the final 10 minutes, another player went down for the game with a leg injury, but most of the eight interchanges had already been made. It got worse for London in the 13th minute when a floated kick from Brad Walker was gathered by Andrew Bulman and he passed inside to Luke Creswell, who ran behind the posts to make Walker’s conversion automatic. London were struggling with Barrow’s astute kicking and, six minutes later, Walker aimed for the opposite corner, where Luke Broadbent outjumped his opposite number and was able to touch down in the corner. Walker’s conversion faded just to the right of the uprights, but the Raiders, with very little possession or territory, had a ten-point lead.
