The Broncos currently sit 12th in the Super League.

Hull KR have also played eleven games so far this season and are currently sat in 5th place after winning 7 (0-22 vs Hull FC, 22-12 vs Leeds Rhinos, 12-24 vs Huddersfield Giants, 34-10 vs Hull FC, 50-10 vs London Broncos, 26-10 vs Wigan Warriors & 40-20 vs St Helens Saints) and losing 4 (17-10 vs Salford Red Devils, 20-22 vs Warrington Wolves, 36-6 vs Catalans Dragons & 20-8 vs Warrington Wolves) games so far this season.

Speaking ahead of our Round 11 clash on Sunday, Hull KR head coach Willie Peters says "I think that this week will be a good game for us. What we need is a professional & clinical performance.

”If you look at when we played London here (Craven Park) we had a good first half and then it was a 10-6 score line in the second half. For us it’s about staying in games for longer periods.

“It’s a good opportunity to play against a team which has nothing to lose and off their first win will be confident so there’s no doubt they’ll throw a lot at us”.

Also ahead of this Sunday’s fixture, we caught up with Broncos assistant coach Jordie Hedges, who says “Well let ourselves down that first game (vs Hull KR) especially in the first half so we are looking to put a few things right from that game.

“The second half showed that we could do it. We put ourselves in a much better position but obviously you can’t afford to let teams get ahead like that and especially Hull KR.

“We’re looking forward to an 80 minute performance which we can put in against these boys.”

Broncos’ media also caught up with new permanent signing Ugo Tison who was speaking about the rest of the season with the Broncos. Tison says “I’m very excited because it’s been a long time coming and after picking up that injury it has been a long road to recovery.

“My English is improving day after day; I speak often with the boys so it has been good for me!

“I’ve played four good games, more minutes than for the Dragons which is good for me, and I want to stay here and play week after week.

“It’s difficult for sure because of my family and the Dragons is my club but I need to take a big decision, so I choose to stay here and play more. It’s a big move”.

It is with great pleasure that we as a club can return to the Twickenham Stoop. The Stoop is steeped in Bronco’s history and provides nothing but fond memories for us all. From former players, staff, directors and fans, the Stoop is universally loved by all and has given rugby league in London some of its greatest days. The win against Canberra in 1997 will live long in the memory of all. On a personal note, the Stoop was mine and my family’s first introduction to the club back in 2012 and they can’t wait to come back. Nicola sat with our son, Daniel, as a newborn baby upstairs in the family box here. Today, Daniel will sit by my side in the coach’s box. He is Born and Bred London Broncos and it will be a proud day for us as a family to share this moment. On to St Helens, what better opposition to welcome than The Saints. The respect we as a club have for St Helens is immense. A club that acts impeccably on and off the field. A team that blood world class juniors year upon year and play the game, in my opinion, the right way. It’s our pleasure to Welcome Paul Wellens, his team, staff, the directors, and fans to the stoop. On the field Saints will test us in all areas. The attacking threat of Welsby, Dodd and Clark will be plain for all to see. Their punch and power on the edges through Sironen, Mata’utia, Hurrell and Percival is equally impressive. Defensively they will look to squeeze us with incredible line speed and stretch us with the ball, THEY WILL ATTACK FROM ANYWHERE! Regarding us, barring the Hull KR match at home, we like to think we have improved massively in the last 6 weeks. The Salford game was a much closer game than the scoreline suggests. I was very proud of the players; they deserved better for their efforts. The no try decision for Stocky before half time was a huge swing. To neither get the decision of a try, or a penalty try for the high tackle, or simply a penalty for the Partington involvement was baffling. The forward pass for Salford’s second try is possibly the clearest forward pass not to be given, that I’ve ever seen. The outcome was equally disappointing and devastating to the influence on the result of the game. It was a bitter pill to swallow for the boys and left us with a mountain to climb. This week we finally welcome back Manu. We all know what Manu will bring! He will need time to get up to speed but its amazing to have the big fella back. Ethan also returns following concussion protocols. Dean is very close to a return and is back in training. Campo has also made great progress running and is due to integrate into training next week. Unfortunately, Rob Butler and Sam Davis miss out with calf tweaks. Defensively we will have to be at our best today to contain Saints, but we are hoping to cause them a few problems of their own with our ball movement. We will need to take our opportunities this week though and execute clinically as chances will be hard to come by. Enjoy the game, enjoy being back at the Stoop, and get behind the boys. Mike

PRESS RELEASE: London Rugby League Foundation London Broncos are delighted to announce that the club has become the sole Member of the London Rugby League Foundation. The London Broncos Rugby League Foundation was originally launched in 2009, as the then Harlequins Rugby League Foundation, before the RFL took over the Membership in 2015. This has since been known as the London Rugby League Foundation. In reverting back to London Broncos being the sole Member of the foundation this will enable far better collaboration and coordination between the London Broncos, the Community Clubs and the RFL for the benefit of the game as a whole. The benefits of such collaboration can already be seen in: The Broncos efforts to encourage Community Club members to attend their Super League matches at AFC Wimbledon this year with a record number of Community Club members attending. The Broncos enabling two Community Clubs to play an U14s match in the AFC Wimbledon Stadium as a curtain raiser to their win against Hull FC and a hundred Primary Rugby League players from Community Clubs played in a festival at the stadium ahead of the match against Hull KR. A high number of Community Club players have attended the London Broncos Lions Development Days for U12s to U15s and the London Broncos Origin Trials at U16s and U18s. The Community Game will also continue to have significant involvement in the Foundation, as the Community Club Awards and Grants to Community Clubs will continue to be determined by a panel comprising the Foundation, the RFL and the London Junior League, and the Foundation will continue to provide grants to Community Clubs across the region. The RFL will also continue to have significant influence, as it will appoint two Trustees to the Board of the Foundation. Richard Jones, who will continue as Chair of the Foundation, having been re-appointed as a Trustee by the RFL, said, "I am really excited that the London Broncos will become the sole Member of the London Rugby League Foundation. This will make the collaboration between the Broncos, the Community Clubs and the RFL far better, help the Foundation give the Community Clubs more support, and help to grow the game even more across London and the South-East." Aaqil Ahmed will also continue as a Trustee of the Foundation, having been re-appointed by the RFL. The London Broncos have appointed Jason Loubser and John Keyes as its Trustees. London Broncos Chief Executive Jason Loubser said; “This is an exciting announcement as it will help us to continue to grow the sport of Rugby League here in London. We will continue to combine the work that we do as a club with the great work that both the foundation and the junior leagues have been doing.” The RFL’s Southern Regions Development Manager Stephen Guan says: ‘’On the eve of Challenge Cup Finals Day, where all Rugby League eyes fall on London, this is a positive announcement for the game in the capital. This collaborative partnership will provide clarity about the Foundation situation across the region and between the two organisations. It will also provide the London Rugby League Foundation with extra support allowing for a stronger impact and further programme delivery opportunities across the sport, which the RFL will continue to support ’’
