London Broncos to make The Lensbury home for 2027
The club will be based full-time at the Teddington venue from 2027.
London Broncos are delighted to announce that The Lensbury in Teddington will be the club's home training base for the 2027 season. The squad will train at the venue full-time as preparations for the new season get underway.
Set on the banks of the River Thames in south-west London, The Lensbury has a long history of welcoming elite sporting teams from around the world. The move makes the Broncos the first full-time professional sports team to be based there permanently in many years.
London Broncos Co-Owner Grant Wechsel said:
“The Lensbury is a world-class facility which has hosted many iconic sporting teams from around the world, including the All Blacks and, of course, the Brisbane Broncos, who we trained against ahead of the 2026 World Club Challenge.
“It is a privilege for the London Broncos to make The Lensbury our home base in 2027, as the first full-time professional sports team to be based at the facility permanently for many years. We look forward to striving for further excellence from our new home in 2027.”
The club would like to thank everyone at The Lensbury for their support in making the move possible, and looks forward to building a lasting partnership both on and off the field.
With a permanent home now secured, attention turns to preparing the squad for the challenge of the 2027 season. Further news on the club's pre-season plans will follow in the coming weeks, and supporters can stay up to date through the club's official website and social media channels.
