Homegrown Talent Teddy Davidson Commits to London Until 2028

London Broncos are excited to announce that Teddy Davidson has signed a two-year contract extension with the club, keeping him in London until 2028.
Davidson is a product of London rugby league, having begun his junior career at Elmbridge Eagles before joining the London Broncos Academy in 2018, where he spent three years. He then moved to Loughborough University to study while continuing his rugby league career.
Following his return to the club, Davidson made his Championship debut in 2025 and has continued to establish himself in the First Team. His dedication and determination have been on display throughout the club’s successful 2026 campaign, helping London secure the League Leaders’ Shield, 1895 Cup and Championship Grand Final to complete a historic treble.
Born and raised in London, Davidson has a strong sense of pride in and connection to the city, representing what the club is striving to build. His journey through London’s junior rugby league system and the Broncos Academy to the First Team reflects the club’s commitment to identifying, developing and retaining local talent.
Speaking on his contract extension, Davidson said, “I’m excited to be signing at London until 2028. It’s a club that I call home and I’m proud to be able to wear the badge for another 2 years.
Thank you to JD, Wardy, Mike and all the other staff for their support and guidance, as well as the owners for their unwavering commitment to this club.
This is a really exciting time for the club and I’m grateful to be a part of such a special group of players, I can’t wait to see what we achieve as a group.
To the fans, thank you for your continued support throughout this season, you have been unbelievable.”
Head Coach Jason Demetriou added, “Ted is a great example of the local talent we want to develop and retain at this club.
He’s shown real dedication and determination this year and played his part in a hugely successful season for the team.
We’re really pleased to have him committed to London until 2028, and I’m looking forward to seeing him continue to develop and play an important role in what we’re building here.”
