London Broncos are pleased to announce that Ben Hursey-Hord has signed a two-year contract extension with the club, keeping him at the Broncos until the end of the 2028 season. A product of the London Broncos Academy, Hursey-Hord began his rugby league career in the south before progressing through the Leeds Rhinos Reserves and Halifax Panthers. He returned to the Broncos for the 2025 season. Since his return, Hursey-Hord has established himself as a consistent member of the First Team, making 44 appearances across the past two seasons. His consistency and determination were on display throughout the club’s successful 2026 campaign, helping the Broncos secure the League Leaders’ Shield, 1895 Cup and Championship Grand Final to complete a historic treble. Born and raised in Kent, Hursey-Hord has a strong connection to the south and represents what the Broncos are striving to build. His journey through the club’s pathway to the First Team reflects the Broncos’ commitment to identifying, developing and retaining local talent. Speaking on his contract extension, Hursey-Hord said, “I’m really happy to be re-signing at this club until 2028, it feels like home and I’ve loved my time here. London Broncos are delighted to announce that Marcus Stock has signed a one-year extension, keeping him at the Broncos until the end of the 2027 season. Growing up in Milton Keynes, Stock began his rugby league journey at Northampton Demons and made his professional debut with Hemel Stags. He moved north to continue his career, before returning south to join London Broncos in 2023. Since joining the club, Stock has been part of a significant period in the Broncos’ history, helping secure promotion to Super League through the Championship Grand Final victory in Toulouse. He made his Super League debut in the 2024 season and has remained with the club since. Stock continued to play an important role in the club’s success in 2026, helping the Broncos secure the League Leaders’ Shield, 1895 Cup and Championship Grand Final to complete a historic treble. Away from the field, he has also played a vital role in bringing the squad together, contributing to the strong culture that has developed within the team throughout the season. Speaking on his contract extension, Stock said, “I'm delighted to be re-signing with the club for my fifth year as a Bronco. Every year has brought its own challenges, experiences and memories, but my enjoyment of being part of this club and my gratitude for the opportunity have remained constant throughout. London Broncos are delighted to announce Fanbase has been appointed the club’s Official Ticketing & Fan Engagement Partner in a multi-year partnership covering 2027 and beyond. Through the multi-year agreement, Fanbase will provide an integrated ticketing and fan engagement platform designed to make the experience more straightforward for supporters. From purchasing tickets and memberships to staying connected with the club, the platform will offer a simpler, more accessible way for fans to engage with London Broncos. Supporters will also benefit from greater flexibility when purchasing tickets and memberships, with Klarna available as a payment option. The buy now, pay later service will give fans more choice in how they pay, helping to make following the Broncos more convenient. Fanbase will also be able to more easily connect the club with supporters. The club can communicate directly with different groups of supporters, encourage occasional visitors to become regulars and introduce more fans to everything happening at the Broncos, from the men’s and women’s teams to events beyond matchday. London Broncos can confirm that Will Lovell has retired from professional rugby league with immediate effect. Lovell leaves a significant legacy at the club and in rugby league in London, having made 210 appearances for the Broncos, including 76 in Super League. During his time with the club, he has won three Championship titles, a League Leaders’ Shield and the 1895 Cup. Born and raised in Northampton, Lovell began his rugby league journey with the Northampton Demons before progressing through the London Broncos Academy to make his professional debut in 2012. Lovell has been a true leader at the club, an influence that was formally recognised in 2020 when he was named captain, a role he held until 2026. Throughout this season, he continued to play a key role within the leadership group. London Broncos would like to thank Will for his dedication, passion and leadership. His contribution to the club will forever be etched in its history as a true servant of the Broncos. Speaking on his retirement, Lovell, said, “I’d like to thank the fans for the wonderful memories over the years, I’m very proud to have captained the club and to have come through the system from the academy. Thanks to JD, Mike and all involved at the club for their support over the years.
