London Broncos' PNG Trio Sign with PNG Chiefs for 2028

Morea Morea, Gairo Voro and Finley Glare join PNG Chiefs for inaugural 2028 season

London Broncos can confirm that Morea Morea, Gairo Voro and Finley Glare will depart the club at the conclusion of the 2027 season to join the PNG Chiefs ahead of their inaugural NRL campaign in 2028.

The club congratulates Morea, Gairo and Finley on this exciting opportunity and look forward to continuing to support them through the current Championship season and into 2027 as they prepare for the next chapter of their careers.

Since joining the club in 2026, all three players have been an integral part of the Broncos squad, with their flair, speed and combination proving to be a major asset on the field. As London Broncos continue their pursuit of success, Morea, Gairo and Finley will remain key members of the squad, with the continued development of their rugby league and leadership skills remaining a priority.

Head Coach Jason Demetriou said, “We’re incredibly proud of Morea, Gairo and Finley and everything they have achieved during their time at the club. This opportunity to join the PNG Chiefs for their inaugural NRL season is a testament to their hard work, dedication and sacrifice.

Their time at the Broncos has given them a platform to showcase their talent and prepare them for the opportunity to play in the NRL in PNG. They will continue to play a pivotal role in the Broncos rise to Super League.”

Morea Morea added, “Signing with the PNG Chiefs is incredibly special. Growing up, playing in the NRL was always a dream of mine, so this is another step towards achieving that. To have the opportunity to do it with my home team makes it even more meaningful. For now, though, my full focus is on the London Broncos over the next 18 months. I’m excited about what we can achieve and want to make the most of every opportunity before taking the next step in my career.”

Gairo Voro said, “I’m really happy to have signed with the PNG Chiefs. It’s a very exciting opportunity for me, and my family are incredibly proud and excited as well. My focus is on the London Broncos. I’m looking forward to playing well and helping the club achieve its goals before moving to the Chiefs.”

Finley Glare added, “I’m excited and honoured to be joining the PNG Chiefs, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. It’s a proud moment for me and my family. My focus is on the London Broncos now, and I’m looking forward to giving my best for the club over the next two seasons before moving to the Chiefs.”

London Broncos look forward to continuing to work with Morea, Gairo and Finley as the club pursues its ambitions throughout the 2026 Championship season and its goal of returning to Super League.
